چکیده

This paper deals with the problem of building a common knowledge body for a set of domain ontologies in order to enable their sharing and integration in a collaborative framework. We propose a novel hierarchical algorithm for concept fuzzy set representation mediated by a reference ontology. In contrast to the original concept representations based on instances, this enables the application of methods of fuzzy logical reasoning in order to characterize and measure the degree of the relationships holding between concepts from different ontologies. We presenta an application of the approach in the multimedia domain.

Query Architecture Expansion in Web Using Fuzzy Multi Domain Ontology

Due to the increasing web, there are many challenges to establish a general framework for data mining and retrieving structured data from the Web. Creating an ontology is a step towards solving this problem. The ontology raises the main entity and the concept of any data in data mining. In this paper, we tried to propose a method for applying the "meaning" of the search system, But the problem ...

Modular Neuro-Fuzzy Networks Used in Explicit and Implicit Knowledge Integration

A framework of new unified neural and neuro-fuzzy approaches for integrating implicit and explicit knowledge in neuro-symbolic systems is proposed. In the developed hybrid system, training data set is used for building neurofuzzy modules, and represents implicit domain knowledge. On the other hand, the explicit domain knowledge is represented by fuzzy rules, which are directly mapped into equiv...

Integrating Fuzzy Logic in Ontologies

Ontologies have proved to be very useful in sharing concepts across applications in an unambiguous way. Nowadays, in ontology-based applications information is often vague and imprecise. This is a well-known problem especially for semantics-based applications, such as e-commerce, knowledge management, web portals, etc. In computer-aided reasoning, the predominant paradigm to manage vague knowle...

A fuzzy extension of the semantic Building Information Model

The Building Information Model (BIM) has become a key tool to achieve communication during the whole building life-cycle. Open standards, such as the Industry Foundation Classes (IFC), have contributed to expand its adoption, but they have limited capabilities for cross-domain information integration and query. To address these challenges, the Linked Building Data initiative promotes the use of...
